Stepping into Black History Month!

The gorgeous Jocy Banks – Model @jocybanks

Preservation of black culture in the skate community

Being black owned, we believe it is essential for young African Americans to not only understand and be proud of their heritage, but to continue sharing our culture and preserve it through skating.

In honor of black history month, Zoni Girls will be using their social channels and blog to spotlight black women of the skate community!
We are excited to learn more about what makes you unique and share it with the world. Like Marianne Williamson said, “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.” We hope to show the world that your black is not only beautiful, but powerful. She continues her quote by saying, “And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same.” Help us in our mission to liberate women and encourage them to feel beautiful in their skin, style, and skates by being uniquely you!

Be sure to use #IskateBeacuse in your posts this month and tag a friend! Share with the world how skating helps YOU embrace your culture and connect with others. Together we will help the preservation of black culture in the skate community! Lets get rollin’!
